CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY: SyncSim Cancellations: In the unlikely event that SyncSim must cancel a scheduled experience, a full refund will be provided to the sponsoring organization within 30 days of providing the notice of cancellation. Sponsoring organizations may elect instead to receive credit of equal amount towards a future event, if available. Credit provided must be used, or request for refund must be submitted, within the calendar year of the initial event date. Participant/Group Cancellations: Only sponsoring organizations can request to cancel or reschedule an individual participant or group of participants. SyncSim will not accept cancellations from individual participants. Cancellations must be made no less than 30 days prior to any scheduled event to receive a refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to an event will not be reimbursed. Rescheduling: At SyncSim, we understand that mitigating circumstances and enrollment changes will occur. For this reason, upon request, we will provide a credit to the sponsoring organization in the event an individual participant must be rescheduled or has been withdrawn. The sponsoring institution must make the request for a credit no later than 24 hours after the scheduled event and may use this credit to schedule any individual participant in any future event of equal or lesser value. Credits must be used within 120 days from the date they are issued. SyncSim will only provide credit for rescheduling at the request of the sponsoring organization at the time of notification regarding institution-approved student absences or withdrawals. If a student is unable to attend an event at their scheduled time, they must contact their sponsoring organization, who will make any determinations regarding mitigating circumstances warranting reschedule. The sponsoring institution must notify SyncSim and make the request for a credit no later than 24 hours after the event – otherwise the payment is forfeited.
